Still Shots

I have been working on my photography. I liked this photo of O. It is so hard to get him and W. to hold still long enough to take a photo. I have to try all sorts of techinques to distract them so that they will stay put long enough for me to click the camera! Any suggestions for photographing busy toddlers and preschoolers are welcome!

Wow! I can't believe how much O's profile looks like S's. Uncanny! Really cute photo, Aud.

So, so, so adorable! My only suggestion is to be as far away as possible and use your telephoto. That way they have no idea what you are doing.

I wish I had some ideas on how to photograph toddlers, but I don't. You seem to, though! Your photos of the boys are precious!

Beautiful photo. I think the best way to get good photographs is to catch them naturally - just get at their level and shoot away - or have someone not taking the pictures helping. Photoshoping helps a lot. I don't worry as much if the camera is crooked because you can fix that - you can't fix that natural expression that will be lost while you are adjusting your camera.
