All Wrapped Up

I am all wrapped up in trying to decide what I should do for my boy's 6th birthday party. He is still in love with trains (and this is 3 years after the first train party!). He is determined to have a GeoTrax/Buzz Lightyear party. Any suggestions on how to successfully combine those two themes? :) J. and I went to the best Halloween party ever past year. I have never seen so many fun activities in one place, and all 20 of J.'s classmates were invited! The kids had their pictures taken and decorated frames, made green slime and spiders out of ding dongs and licorice, played eat the donut off the string, find the worms in the cool whip, change goblins, and mummy your mommy (see photo) - a contest to see which team can wrap their mommy up in toilet paper the fastest. It was hilarious. Any game ideas? What food did you serve for O.'s last party? It looked scrumptious from the photos.

I'll have to brainstorm for Buzz/Train game ideas. I do like the idea of Buzz riding a train though...very original! Maybe you could do a trains in space theme. Buzz could land on a distant planet where they had trains and then you could incorporate a fun space theme too. Family Fun has a great space theme for a party plan http://familyfun.go.com/parties/birthday/feature/space_party/space_party.html
Maybe you could pretend to blastoff in a rocket to arrive at the party and then have some little train cars (cardboard boxes) take them to different game stations. Let me know what you figure out!

That is such a cute idea! Wow, Aud! You should be a professional party planner.
