Aud, The bottom picture of O is my absolute favorite. If you cropped in the sides so that no dark "noise" was showing, this would be the most beautiful picture to hang on your wall! You really need to create a photo gallery somewhere in your house. So, of all the photographs you have posted on this blog since you got your new camera, my favorites are this one and the very first post of O with his head on the couch. Great work! (Can I come take a class?) ;)
I don't really like any of them that much now that I am looking at them again. I want sharper, black and whites and don't know how to do it. Good advice about further cropping these. What exactly is noise? Just shapes that have no reference point?
Oh, I don't think "noise" is really an official term, just distractions. I think if some of the darker edges were removed, you could focus more on Owen's face. I think the photos are really good. Do you take the pictures as B&Ws on your camera, or change them on your computer?
We are best twins who met when we were 16. Now we live 2,283 miles apart (as the car drives). We both find great joy in the beauty of this life. Thus the name of our blog: 'Bella & Piekna' or beautiful, in Portuguese and Polish. We hope to tap into the things that make this life so beautiful. Enjoy!
