Opinions, please!

I need your opinions. I am refinishing a dresser for my room. Which finish do you like better - rubbed edges with white and brown showing through or smooth green paint? Inquiring mind wants to know.

I like it better with the brown showing through, but my mom said the other way looks better. Then she said the antiqued way is more interesting because it adds a little texture.

I like the smooth green personally, but then I'm not really into the shabby chic look. But I guess it depends on what the other furniture in the room is like, you probably wouldn't want one odd piece.

Out of the two I like the distressed, antique look. However I think you should paint it white then use a glaze to give it an aged look. Kind of like the furniture you have in Eva's room. However that creates more work for you. Maybe I should come out and help you with that project :)

I do like the distressed look, but of these two samples I like the smooth green better. I am impressed! This looks like a big project. I am excited to see how it turns out!

I personally like smooth green paint. I'm a sucker for anything green!
